Punch Buggy

Punch Buggy / Slug Bug / Punch Dub This post is for a popular car spotting game where players are looking for just one type of car, specifically Volkswagen Type 1, the Volkswagen Beetle, also know as the VW Beetle or Bug. The game is known as Punch Buggy, Slug Bug or Punch Dub. Although Punch Dub is a newer version of the game for all VW models (we'll get to this later).  Punch Buggy is a variant on the Yellow Car or Spotto game (well maybe Spotto is a variant of Punch Buggy, no one can be sure which came first). Players are typically rear seat passengers in a travelling vehicle. Players call out Punch Buggy and the colour of the car, i.e. Punch Buggy Blue, then "punch" the nearest passenger.  We will stop here quickly. It is important to note that in no way does True Review support violence, aggression or assault. Also True Review take no responsibility for any accident or injury that may occur. This "punch" should be considered a love tap, a light bump on the

Clickworker

Clickworker is a micro-tasking system where individuals can sign up and complete micro tasks or small "jobs" and get paid for it. These small jobs can be as simple as taking a few photos, completing a review, visiting a store or writing some text. The payment for micro jobs can be anywhere from 1 cent to $50 or more.

Sounds like a great concept and they have over one million clickworkers registered. Not sure how many of these have stuck around or made any money. There is generally around 20 thousand clickworkers active.

If you want to make around one dollar every 3 or 4 hours then this is the place for you.

There is also a clickworker app to get tasks completed quick and easy. The app tasks seem to be more photo/video based.

To get into the more advanced tasks, where it could be assumed you might make a little money, you will need to complete some assessments to prove you have what it takes. The assessments are quite rigorous and require a fair amount of concentration and time. Make sure there are no distractions as they are timed and have a very high pass mark. This is a good thing for their clients. It means that they will not just take anyone for particular tasks as they want quality work.

Unfortunately, the first impression is one of fear. Is this for real? The first seven or so tasks that are presented to you present themselves to be a scam, an attempt to gather personal information, including images yourself and of your ID. Are they trying to steal your identity? Skipping these tasks and progressing through a review which took near on an hour to complete for a wholesome 20 cents.

If you are home alone with nothing better to do, power through the reviews and you might be able to register a few dollars. Be careful though, the reviews re very specific and ask for a ton of details. They even pre-qualify your first few answers to make sure you fit the bill.

Clearly it can't be too easy, otherwise everyone will do a thousand reviews each day, but they need to balance the length of reviews and the details required at a more suitable medium.

I'll stick this one out for a bit longer and see if some more valuable tasks come up, although not holding high hopes.

Cheers
Keep it real, yep you know
