Punch Buggy

Punch Buggy / Slug Bug / Punch Dub This post is for a popular car spotting game where players are looking for just one type of car, specifically Volkswagen Type 1, the Volkswagen Beetle, also know as the VW Beetle or Bug. The game is known as Punch Buggy, Slug Bug or Punch Dub. Although Punch Dub is a newer version of the game for all VW models (we'll get to this later).  Punch Buggy is a variant on the Yellow Car or Spotto game (well maybe Spotto is a variant of Punch Buggy, no one can be sure which came first). Players are typically rear seat passengers in a travelling vehicle. Players call out Punch Buggy and the colour of the car, i.e. Punch Buggy Blue, then "punch" the nearest passenger.  We will stop here quickly. It is important to note that in no way does True Review support violence, aggression or assault. Also True Review take no responsibility for any accident or injury that may occur. This "punch" should be considered a love tap, a light bump on the

Core Trainer Australia

Core Trainer's Waist and Thigh Sweat Band

Looking to be a little more active and drop a couple of kilos, I have found a few people talking about sweat bands to help speed up fat burn. After a bit of looking I found a waist and thigh sweat band combo. These bands are meant to help reduce your size and improve your appearance while also providing additional support through a workout and throughout the day for any activity.

This waist and thigh sweat band is from Core Trainer Australia. It has a slightly higher than average price tag at $79 with the expectation that it is better quality. So here we go, purchased the band from Core Trainer and received shipment notification pretty quick as promised. Received the item fairly quickly considering Covid-19 issues with freight movements etc, but this is where it got interesting for me. All the images on the website showed a pretty good quality product. Showed the waist section on the model giving really good coverage and support to target an increased sweat production in the waist area. What arrived was somewhat different to that advertised.

The product as advertised.                                What was actually received.

So yes there is pink edging around the outside, and at first glance looks more or less the same, but there is two very distinctive pink strips missing between the waist and thigh section. The waist section as advertised has two Velcro style hook and loop straps, but this one has only one and seems significantly smaller than that advertised.

In terms of performance, easy to strap on, but it only stays in position for about 5 mins and then you are just continuously adjusting it because it is so uncomfortable. The waist section is basically just a belt to try and keep the thigh bands from slipping down the leg, it works for the front but the back still slips down. The waist section is nowhere near big enough to act as a waist sweat band and is so small it starts to fold in half and is just annoying.

Details that do not match to the advertised product.

Positives

Can be strapped tight for the support and sweat inducing desired effect.

Not so Positives, Negatives or things that annoy.

Other than the fact that this is not what is advertised (further to this below), there are several topics to discuss.
The waist band is more of a belt than a sweat band.
The thigh bands slide out of position quickly and slip down the back of the leg with only mild exercise.

IS CORE TRAINER AUSTRALIA A SCAM?

I'm sure that this is the question that you want answers to. It is a little difficult to answer. Obviously I received a product after placing an order. Which was received fairly quickly. I'm sure plenty of you are happy with your purchase. The issue here is more around quality and accuracy of the advertised products that Core Trainer Australia is selling.

I have only purchased one item, and likely to be the last from these guys, but this product is clearly not the advertised product. I have emailed them requesting to return of the product for refund, NO REPLY. I have been a little busy, but I should not have to chase them when the email address is plastered everywhere for support. Not Quite Right? email us and we will not respond.

Having another quick search. The supplied product is very similar to a $39 product found at another supplier.

My advice, be cautious of Core Trainer Australia. I would not trust them enough to buy another product from them. I also believe that there is a good chance that the product you get (if you actually go ahead and place an order) will not be reflective of the advertised product. It might be similar or maybe a cheap alternative.
