Punch Buggy

Punch Buggy / Slug Bug / Punch Dub This post is for a popular car spotting game where players are looking for just one type of car, specifically Volkswagen Type 1, the Volkswagen Beetle, also know as the VW Beetle or Bug. The game is known as Punch Buggy, Slug Bug or Punch Dub. Although Punch Dub is a newer version of the game for all VW models (we'll get to this later).  Punch Buggy is a variant on the Yellow Car or Spotto game (well maybe Spotto is a variant of Punch Buggy, no one can be sure which came first). Players are typically rear seat passengers in a travelling vehicle. Players call out Punch Buggy and the colour of the car, i.e. Punch Buggy Blue, then "punch" the nearest passenger.  We will stop here quickly. It is important to note that in no way does True Review support violence, aggression or assault. Also True Review take no responsibility for any accident or injury that may occur. This "punch" should be considered a love tap, a light bump on the

Where everyone get a bargain

Living & Co 600W Corded Stick Vacuum Cleaner

The Living & Co vacuum is sold at The Warehouse. Probably because it is manufactured specifically for The Warehouse.  Not sure if Living & Co is a warehouse owned brand. It is not shown in The Warehouse Group list of companies.

So, we have had this vacuum for several weeks and have found it to be a fantastic little vacuum, especially for the price. At $39 how can you go wrong, right?

Well, yes it is a great vacuum. It sucks things up. However, as with almost everything there are positives and negatives.

Positives

This vacuum is great for a hard flat surface. It will suck everything up no problem.
Fantastic price. I struggle to understand how something like this can be manufactured for what must be less than $10 or after packing and shipping there would be nothing in it for The Warehouse. These would have to be manufactured in the tens of thousands at a phenomenal rate. Hopefully they are not using child labour or anything like that.
It has a quick release opening for the dust compartment.
It is powered by a cord so no loss of power when the battery goes flat or starts to die.

Not so Positives, Negatives or things that annoy.

The most annoying aspect to this vacuum is the air discharge point. Due to this vacuum being a stick type vacuum, the air discharge is from the main unit at whatever height that it is being held, generally around hip height. This is also around the height of most kitchen benches, dining room tables and other furniture pieces. If your not careful, it will blow everything of the table. I guess this means that shows how powerful the motor is, but it is also a little concerning. If the filter is not performing very well, all the dust (and germs) are being blown from the floor and all over the tables and benches. Not such a good thought when you think about it that way.
The cord is maybe a little short. Just means you need to change the power point a little more often.
The dust compartment fills up a bit quick. It can also be a little tricky to empty. If it gets too fill, you end up having to dig the dust out with your hands, or what ever is lying around. This defeats the purpose of hands free disposal. You need to keep an eye on the dust compartment and empty it early.
I have also found that the floor head or combo floor tool can get a bit stuck in position. It need s little bump to free it up again.
Does not seem to provide a through clean for carpets. It will pick up dust and fluff from the surface.

It's the little things that can get on your nerve sometimes. Even so, if you are after a cheap vacuum, this will do the job no problem.
